This course covers the important interrelationship between the facial appearance, the vertical dimension, the arch width and the health of the TMJ. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how deficiencies in vertical dimension and arch width can contribute to TMJ issues, and how these factors also affect overall facial harmony.
Topics include the “Seven Keys to Facial Beauty and TMJ Health,” the cultural and developmental contributors to malocclusion, non-surgical solutions for gummy smiles, and a simplified cephalometric analysis that aligns with facial analysis techniques. A special focus will be placed on how to enhance facial esthetics while supporting functional occlusion and joint health.
